Torah Portions

  • Vayechi

Vayechi means “and he lived,” referring to the 17 years Ya’akov would spend in Egypt before dying. The portion begins with Jacob making final arrangements to be buried in Canaan once he dies. Ironically, the portion ends with Joseph making those same arrangements but deferring final relocation until the Exodus. It seems that Joseph’s final vision then was his foretelling the time of Moshe. About Us

Mission Statement

One Faith One People Ministries is dedicated to teaching the Word of Our Heavenly Father, Yahweh, as it was once written and also that of His Son, Yeshua the Messiah. The quality of our lives depends on knowing the Truth. Yeshua said, “You will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free” (John 8:32). It does not say that if you believe in Yeshua (or “Jesus” as he may have been known to many of you), that you will not have trials in your life or be tested. The Word empowers us to navigate through life and if we keep His covenant, He blesses us. His Son came to give us Salvation (Genesis 49:18; Exodus 14:13) but we have to understand what Yeshua preached to claim that salvation. He also prayed and healed the sick and afflicted. Scripture, as it was written, tells our history of trials, testing and hardships and eventually our deliverance. It is packed with valuable information pertaining to how we should think, speak and act. Knowing the Word is understanding who you are in Him. We strive to provide understanding so that your lives will be enriched. Each year we have been able to reach many more people personally than we have ever before and with His help, we can increase that number next year. We ask for your participation in and support of our ministry. This work cannot be done without your help. (We are a not-for-profit organization.)

Blessings,
